It can offer students the opportunity to live for a while in the country of origin of values that have greatly influenced Western civilizations today, e.g., Democracy, Philosophy, Art and Science, and get acquainted with its historic monuments and culture, by studying in a language that most already speak, i.e., English. By joining this BA program, they may also choose to learn Modern Greek by specialized teachers, seizing the opportunity to connect with today’s Greece through the study of the past.

Apart from high school graduates who will enroll for this full four-year BA program, and may apply for the above scholarships, potential students may also include exchange students who would be welcome for the period of one or two years, through bilateral agreements between the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the university with which they are already registered.
