Europska komisija nudi 5omjesečno plaćeno stažiranje, trening koji počinje ili 01.03. ili 01.10. Svake godine nudi se 1,400 slobodnih mjesta.

Stažiranje je otvoreno svim mladima koji su završili barem tri godine, preddiplomskog studija a detalje o prijavi možete naći u tekstu.

Mjesečna naknada iznosi 1,000 eura te se plačaju i putni troškovi i sva osiguranja.

Rok za prijavu je 01.10.2016. a detalji programa se nalaze na službenoj web stranici.

A paid traineeship of 5 months with the European Commission (or some executive bodies and agencies of the European Institutions like, for instance, the European External Action Service or Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation), starting on either 1st March or 1st October. Every year, there are about 1,400 places available.

Trainees work all over the European Commission. The content of the job largely depends on the service you are assigned to. You may work in the field of competition law, human resources, environmental policy …

The daily work will mainly consist of:

  • attending and organising meetings, working groups, forums, public hearings,
  • researching and compiling documentation, reports, consultations; answering queries,
  • running projects.

The traineeship offers EU knowledge – insight into the processes and policies of the European Institutions, practical experience – an opportunity to play a part in the Commission’s day-to-day business and opportunity to put academic theory into practice.

Eligibility

 
The traineeship program is open to university graduates from all over the world who have a:

  • degree of at least 3 years of study (minimum a bachelor)
  • very good knowledge of English or French or German
  • very good knowledge of a second EU official language (required for nationals of EU countries)

If you apply for translation traineeships (in the Translation Directorate General) you must be able to translate into your main language (normally your native language) from 2 other official EU languages (source languages):

your main language must be one of the official EU languages.
your 1st source language must be English, French or German.
your 2nd source language can be any of the official EU languages.
People who have previously done more than 6 weeks of in-service training or work (paid or unpaid) for any of the European institutions or bodies are excluded.

Remuneration
You will receive a monthly grant of €1,000 and reimbursement of travel expenses. Accident and health insurance can also be provided.

Application
Register online HERE. Make sure that you identify yourself by selecting the External domain before you introduce your username and password. Log in and complete each section of the application form following the instructions provided on-screen. The European Commission does not require you to submit any paper documents at this stage. Afterwards, only pre-selected candidates for the Virtual Blue Book will be invited to provide supporting documents.

Applications are open twice a year:

for traineeships beginning in October – applications open in January
