ERASMUS MUNDUS Master Course in European Literary Cultures

 

The ERASMUS MUNDUS PROGRAMME is a co-operation and mobility programme in the field of higher education. It aims to enhance quality in European higher education and to promote intercultural understanding through co-operation with European and NON-European countries.

The CLE master program in European literary cultures offers education in at least three European cultural and linguistic domains spanning a large area of thought from literature to history through the language sciences.

The program seeks to provide a high quality preparation reflecting the multicultural aspects of Europe.

Aristoteleion Panepistimion Thessaloniki, ELLAS
Université Cheikh Anta Diop (Dakar), SENEGAL

Students are required to study in two or three consortium universities to:

  • complete their training,
  • develop their research,
  • obtain a multiple diploma

During the full-time programme (23 months), EU and Non-EU students will have a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting educational environment by spending terms in two or three different consortium universities. The language of instruction varies according to the institutions chosen by the students. At the end of the Master Course, the consortium universities provide a double or multiple degree.

European and international students applying for the Master Course CLE must have a good level first-cycle degree in a discipline of relevance to CLE, a recognized level of proficiency in English and in the language of instruction of the consortium institution chosen for the first year of study.
 

Application

The CLE master program is open to all European and non-European students who meet the following requirements:

  • Have an excellent educational record;
  • a Bachelor degree (180 credits);
  • a university degree in one of the following fields: Literature, Language studies, History, History of art
  • know at least the following languages: English (at least a B1 level) and the language of the university where the applicant will be spending his first year of studies (at least a B1 level)

 

Scholarship

Scholarships/ grants /mobility aids are available for the best candidates selected to partecipate in the EM CLE Master on the basis of the excellence of their curriculum and of the kind of mobility chosen, depending on the funds at disposal. This list can be susceptible to change and it is possible that the consortium may propose additional scholarships.
