Erasmus Mundus Master Course in European Literary Cultures – CLE has been selected for Erasmus+ by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency under the Key Action 1 “Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees”.
After seven successful years in the framework of the Erasmus Mundus program, the European Union has once again recognized the excellence of the CLE Master Course.
Three student intakes, from 2016 until 2020, will be funded and, during this time, highly remunerated scholarships (up to a maximum of € 22.000 per year) might be awarded to the best CLE students coming from all over the world.

The program aims to:
(1) Foster excellence, quality improvements, innovation and internationalization in higher education institutions (HEI) by offering full degree scholarships to the best Master students worldwide;
(2) Improve the level of competences and skills of Master graduates, and in particular the relevance of the Joint Masters for the labor market, through an increased involvement of employers.
The CLE Consortium includes five primary Universities in the field of European literary studies: Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna, ITALY (program coordinator); Université de Haute-Alsace (Mulhouse), FRANCE; Université de Strasbourg, FRANCE; Aristoteleion Panepistimion Thessaloniki, GREECE and Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar, SENEGAL.
During the full-time program (23 months), EU and Non-EU students will have a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting educational environment by spending terms in two or three different consortium universities. The language of instruction varies according to the institutions chosen by the students. At the end of the Master Course, the consortium universities provide a double or multiple degree.
Admission requirements: International students applying for the CLE must have an excellent CV, a good level first-cycle degree in a discipline of relevance to CLE, a recognized level of proficiency in English and in the language of instruction of the consortium institution chosen for the first year of study (minimum level B1).
