Wellcome Studentship
We are able to offer generous financial support to outstanding applicants, through the following postgraduate programmes: MPhil/PhD (research); MA or Intercalated MSc in Health Care Ethics and Law (taught, campus based); and Bioethics and Medical Jurisprudence PhD (structured).
The award covers the costs of home/EU tuition fees, along with a full annual stipend (£18,053 in the first year, rising to £21,321 in the third for PhDs), which is not subject to income tax or National Insurance deductions.

To be considered for a Wellcome Trust Studentship, you will need to have already been offered a place on the School’s Doctoral or Masters programme for academic year 2009-2010. This means that you should submit your full application for a place on the programme at least two weeks prior to the submission date for the Studentship
