University of Westminster is offering full scholarships for international postgraduate students in UK. These scholarships are open for international students to pursue full-time masters programme.
University of Westminster prestigious scholarship is aimed at fully funding a student for full-time studies.
The University of Westminster is a public research university in London, United Kingdom. Its antecedent institution, the Royal Polytechnic Institution, was founded in 1838 and was the first polytechnic institution in the UK.
For Masters degrees 6.5 overall with a minimum 5.5 in each component (some schools require a minimum of 6.0 in each).
 

Course Level: Scholarship is available to pursue postgraduate programme.
 

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded to study all the subjects offered by the university. (Expect MBA)
 

Scholarship Award: Scholarship includes full tuition fee award, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London.

Windle Trust International Scholarship: This is a ‘closed’ scholarship in conjunction with the Windle Trust International.


Westminster Business School Excellence Scholarship: You must be an international student from a developing country and hold an offer for a full-time Masters at the Westminster Business School.


Vice-Chancellor Scholarship: You must be an international student from a developing country and hold an offer for a full-time Masters.
 

Southeast Asia Scholarship: You must be a student from Southeast Asia and hold an offer for a full-time Masters at the University.
 

Social Sciences and Humanities Excellence Scholarship: You must hold an offer for a full-time Masters in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University.
 

Small Island Nation Scholarship: You must be a student from a developing small island nation and hold an offer for a full-time Masters at the University.
 

Science and Technology Excellence Scholarship: You must be an international student from a developing country and hold an offer for a full-time Masters degree in the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University.
 

Media, Arts and Design Excellence Scholarship: You must be an international student from a developing country and hold an offer for a full-time Masters degree in the Westminster School of Media, Arts and Design.
 

Latin America Scholarship: You must be from Latin America and hold an offer for a full-time Masters at the University.
 

International Student House Scholarships: You must be an international student from a developing country and hold an offer for a full-time Masters at the University.
 

Geoffrey Copland Scholarship: You must be an international student from a developing country and hold an offer for a full-time Masters at the University.
 

Eastern European Scholarship: You must be from Eastern Europe and hold an offer for a full-time Masters. You must intend to return to your home country on completion of the course.
 

Disaster Regeneration Scholarship: You must be an international student from a disaster-struck developing country or region and hold an offer for a full-time Masters at the University.
 

Colin Matheson Scholarship: You must be an international student from a developing country and hold an offer for a full-time Masters at the University.
 

Central American and The Caribbean Scholarship: You must be a student from Central America or the Caribbean and hold an offer for a full-time Masters at the University.
 

Break the Silence Scholarship: You must be an international student from a developing country and hold an offer for a full-time Masters related to this issue at the University. Applicants must make a development case addressing how they would contribute to ending violence against women.
 

Architecture and the Built Environment (ABE) Excellence Scholarship: You must be an international student from a developing country and hold an offer for a full-time Masters degree in one of the following courses: – MSc Architecture and Environmental Design – MA Urban & Regional Planning – MSc Transport Planning & Management – MSc Construction Commercial Management – MSc Construction Project Management – MA Tourism Management
 

Africa Prisons Project Scholarship: This is a ‘closed’ scholarship in conjunction with the African Prisons Project.


Africa Education Scholarship: You must be from sub-Saharan Africa, work in the field of education and hold an offer for a full-time Masters at the University.
 

Nationality: International students can apply for these scholarships.
 

College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Applicant must have equivalent to a UK First Class Honours degree, financial need and development potential.


English Language Requirement: IELTS Masters degrees – 6.5 overall with a minimum 5.5 in each component (some schools require a minimum of 6.0 in each)


TOEFL (IBT): University do not accept TOEFL from applicants requiring a Tier 4 visa, as this qualification is no longer accepted by the UK Visas and Immigration Department (UKVI). The University will continue to accept TOEFL certificates for entry purposes from EU applicants. If applicants have any further queries, please contact their admissions officer.
 

Masters Scholarships
Supporting Material:
In addition to the application for the scholarship, the applicant must submit the following documents:

  • a copy of the letter /email from the University of Westminster confirming or unconditional offer of a place on their chosen course
  • a copy of their transcript from their most recent/current academic study; all documentation must be provided in English
  • a reference letter for their scholarship application; this should be written by a previous tutor, professor, academic or employer (where relevant to their chosen degree course)

How to Apply: Necessary documents and scholarship application can be submitted by post. Here are two ways for international students to apply for a postgraduate programme at Westminster:

  • online via apply online via UKPass
  • via apply via our overseas representatives

There is no official deadline for postgraduate applications, but we strongly recommend applicant apply early (by April for September start and October for January start), especially if they are interested in applying for a scholarship.
 

If they apply via UKPass, please make sure they include scanned copies of all the following documents:

  • a copy of their results transcript from their first degree (translated into English)
  • a copy of their English language qualification
  • their CV/resumé
  • two academic references (letters of recommendation)
  • a personal statement (statement of purpose/study plan) that explains:
  • why they are interested in the course(s)
  • why they would like to study at the University of Westminster
  • any relevant skills and experience that they have
  • their career plans
