American Institute on Political and Economic Systems, july 2009 

Experience Prague this summer in a unique educational environment with 100 students from more than 25 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the United States. The American Institute on Political and Economic Systems (AIPES) is an academic program designed to explore the political, economic and cultural issues of the world as it grows under democratic principles. AIPES embodies diversity and culture as its cornerstone to educating future leaders. Over 1500 alumni have attended AIPES since its founding in 1993.

Admissions

To be considered for admission, one must submit the Online Application Form and the remaining application requirements listed below via our online application system
Apply Yourself, mail or by fax before the application deadlines

  • One letter of recommendation
  • An official transcript in English
  • Resume or curriculum vitae
  • A typed statement-of-purpose not to exceed 500 words
  • Analytical Essay
  • Proof of English proficiency

Scholarships

Program costs are 3,500 € per student, however many students attending will receive a significant scholarship. Generous supporters of The Fund for American Studies provide various scholarships to students.

All program fees will cover tuition, 2 meals a day unless indicated,, housing, reading materials and special events. Students will have to provide their own travel costs, lunches and other personal expenses.
