Masters Scholarships for International Students in Economics at UEA
The School of Economics at University of East Anglia (UEA) is offering masters scholarships for UK/EU or international students. Scholarships are offered for 1 year only and awarded on the basis of academic merit and the overall strength of their application. The school offers three types of scholarships i.e. Experimental Economics Scholarships and Industrial Economics Scholarships covering full UK/EU fees (£6,000) and School Focus Scholarships covering 50% of fees for six promising candidates. Applicants, who have received an offer on the eligible programme by 28 April 2014, will be considered for these scholarships.
Study Subject (s): Scholarships are awarded for studying MSc Experimental Economics (Experimental Economics Scholarships), MSc Industrial Economics (Industrial Economics Scholarships) and MSc Economics MSc Experimental Economics MSc Industrial Economics (School Focus Scholarships).

Eligibility: UK/EU or international students are eligible for Experimental Economics and Industrial Economics Scholarships and only UK and EU students are eligible for School Focus Scholarships. Applicants, who have received an offer on the eligible programme by 28 April 2014, will be considered for these scholarships.
Scholarship Open for International Students: UK/EU or international students can apply for Experimental Economics and Industrial Economics Scholarships and only UK and EU students are eligible for School Focus Scholarships.
Scholarship Description: Scholarships are available for Home/EU and International postgraduate applicants to courses in the School of Economics. Three types of scholarships will be available:
-Experimental Economics Scholarships (full fees): In recognition of the School’s research excellence in and commitment to Experimental Economics, they offer two scholarships equal to full UK/EU fees (£6, 000) to students taking the MSc Experimental Economics. They especially welcome applications from those intending to pursue an academic career.
-Industrial Economics Scholarships (full fees): In recognition of the Centre for Competition Policy and the School’s commitment to Industrial Economics, we offer two scholarships equal to full UK/EU fees (£6,000) to students taking the MSc Industrial Economics. We especially welcome applications from those intending to pursue an academic career.
-School Focus Scholarships (up to 50% fees): For the six most promising candidates, this will cover 50% of your fees, and all other candidates will be considered for a £1000 scholarship. These scholarships cannot be cumulated with any other UEA or ESRC scholarships. They are available to UK and EU students.
Number of award(s): Two Industrial Economics, two Experimental Economics and a number of School Focus Scholarships will be offered.
Duration of award(s): Scholarships will be offered for 1 year only.
What does it cover? Industrial Economics and Experimental Economics scholarships will cover full UK/EU fees (£6,000) and School Focus Scholarship will cover 50% of fees for six promising candidates, and all other candidates will be considered for a £1000 scholarship
Selection Criteria: Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the overall strength of their application.
How to Apply: Applicants, who have received an offer on the eligible programme by 28 April 2014, will be considered for these scholarships. No separate application is necessary.
