Fair 2008
The fourth Scholarships Fair was held on 22 October 2008 from 10 am to 6 pm in the National and University Library in Zagreb.
The Scholarships Fair 2008 was the most successful Scholarships Fair in terms of the number of exhibitors and visitors, the number of scholarships presented and the extent of media coverage:
- Largest number of scholarships: over 75 scholarship programmes were presented at the Fair. Including Croatian State scholarships, over 3500 individual scholarships were presented, with a total of 2800 to 3000 scholarships available for study in Croatia.

Largest number of exhibitors: a total of 35 exhibitors participated at the Fair (20 Croatian and 15 foreign institutions), which is the largest number of exhibitors so far.
• Large number of visitors: more than 6000 visitors attended the Scholarships Fair in one day.

The Scholarships Fair 2008 also achieved an outstanding success in terms of media coverage. More than 152 articles, reports, and announcements about the Fair were published in the Croatian press, on radio and television stations, as well as on various web portals and web sites.
Highlights:
- Television: a total of nine reports were broadcasted on four TV stations: on Nova TV, on the afternoon news on Hrvastka televizija, as well as in the main news programmes on local stations OTV and Z-1. Reports on the Fair were also broadcast on other programmes, including the popular HTV show "Good morning Croatia".
- Radio: 15 reports on 11 radio stations, including Radio 101, Plavi radio, Narodni radio and Hrvatski radio-1.
- Print media: 30 articles in 10 different print media, including eight articles and announcements in Veernji list, three articles and announcements in Vjesnik, three in Novi list and a large article in Jutarnji list.
- Web portals: 58 articles and announcements were featured on 35 different web portals. Announcements were published on some of the most important Croatian news portals (including T-portal, Javno and Net.hrI), on the web portals of the Croatian press (Vjesnik and Metro), and the other portals such as MojPosao and Studentnet.
- Web sites: a total of 40 announcements featured on the web sites of the universities, student organisations and other institutions, the most prominent being the web sites of the University of Zagreb, the Ministry of Science Education and Sports, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and the European Commission Delegation in Croatia.
Portfolio "Scholarships Fair 2008" - A portfolio (in Croatian) presenting the success of the Scholarships Fair 2008 has been published in Croatian, containing statistics (collected through surveys of exhibitors and visitors), photographs and evaluations of individual activities Fair.
Exhibitors brochure - The official 6th Scholarships Fair brochure contains texts with basic information about the exhibitors, the scholarship programmes and financial support offered by the exhibiting institutions.
